Food For Folks

Millbrook area churches are stocking a food pantry to help families and individuals in need. We are relying on the help and generosity of our community to make this program a success. Please consider becoming involved by:

· donating a full bag with a 3-day supply of food.

· donating any amount of suggested items.

· donating cash. Make checks payable to Millbrook Area Clergy Fund.

· volunteering to help. Call 677-3485 or 677-3064.

We are collecting non-perishable foods, as well as toiletries and other products. Suggested items include:

Ø non-perishable foods:

· fruit juices

· fruits - canned

· vegetables - canned

· soups

· cereals

· grains rice, pasta, dried beans

· proteins canned (fish, stew, chili, lunch meat, hash, ravioli, peanut butter, etc.)

· sauces tomato products, etc.

· mixes bread, muffin, pancake, cake, pudding, gelatin

· cookies, crackers, granola bars, snack mix

· raisins, other dried fruits

· coffee, tea, cocoa

· powdered milk

· sugar, syrup, jelly

· condiments mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, mustard, pickles, etc.

Ø toiletries:

· toothpaste, toothbrush

· shaving supplies

· shampoos, deodorant

· sanitary napkins, tampons

Ø other products:

· baby products diapers, formula, baby food

· cleaning supplies dish detergent, laundry detergent

· paper products - toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, etc.
